Directions for use
Application should only be made to dry hair.
A sensitivity test is essential before each application (see below).
PREPARATION
- Place a towel over your shoulders to protect your clothes, then put on the pair of gloves.
- Pour the contents of the COLOR&SOIN® Plant Extract Stain into the Colour Fixer bottle.
- Replace the cap on the applicator bottle tightly and shake it until you have a perfectly homogeneous mixture.
- Screw the tip of the applicator bottle cap, and begin application immediately.
APPLICATION
- Separate hair into four zones with a comb and carefully apply to the roots, using the applicator tip.
- Then distribute the colouring mixture throughout the length of your hair. Use the entire product for colouring.
- Mix lightly to thoroughly soak the entire hair.
SETTING TIME
- Leave on 20 minutes if you have little grey hair. Extend to 30 minutes if you have more than 50% grey hair and up to 40 minutes if the grey hair is difficult to cover.
- For maintenance colouring, apply the mixture to the roots initially, leave on for 20 minutes. Then extend to the lengths and leave on for an additional 10 minutes.
RINSE
- Before rinsing, emulsify the application with a little warm water and massage in circular motions.
- Rinse until the water runs clear.
- Apply COLOR&SOIN® Hair Balm (contained in the box) from the roots to the ends, gently massaging the hair for about 2 minutes. Then proceed to a final rinse.
- Let your hair dry naturally (preferably) before styling so that it gradually regains its shape, flexibility and volume.
EXPERT TIPS
- When can I do my COLOR&SOIN® colouring?
Ideally, you can apply COLOR&SOIN® 48H after your last shampoo. The sebum constitutes a protective barrier and allows a better assimilation of the pigments by the hair. - How often can you colour?
Your hair grows about 1 centimetre per month, so you need to re-colour every 4 to 6 weeks to mask your roots. - Does COLOR&SOIN® colour damage hair?

Yes, in some cases, it is better to refrain from coloring them if they are very dry, split and brittle, if you have dandruff (dry or greasy) or if you lose them in large quantities.
Precautions for use
Hair dyes can cause severe allergic reactions.
Read and follow instructions carefully.
This product is not intended for use on persons under 16 years of age.
Black temporary henna tattoos may increase the risk of allergy.
Do not colour your hair if:
– You have a rash on your face or a sensitive, irritated or damaged scalp.
– You have ever had a reaction after colouring your hair.
– You have had a reaction to a temporary black henna tattoo in the past.
– You have already coloured your hair with henna. Color&soin¨ is not compatible with henna.
If you feel hot, tingling and/or itching while colouring, rinse immediately.
Wear appropriate gloves.
Avoid application of the product outside the scalp. Do not use for colouring eyelashes and eyebrows.
Avoid contact of product with eyes. Rinse eyes immediately if product comes into contact with them. Prepare and apply the mixture preferably in a well ventilated area.
Protect your shoulders with a towel to avoid staining them.
Rinse your hair after application. Do a test touch 48 hours before each application.
Do not leave the mixture in the bottle for too long. After obtaining a homogeneous mixture, apply immediately. For colouring, use all the product immediately after mixing. If you have any left, do not keep it, throw it away.
Do not use aluminium or other metal containers. Use a glass bowl instead.
Do not mix with other dyes.
After a perm, wait two weeks.
Do not leave the product within the reach of children.
Store at room temperature (10 to 25°C), protected from light.
The mixture of the Tincture with Plant Extracts bottle and the Colour Fixer bottle must always be in the ratio of 1:1.
Contains diaminobenzenes and hydrogen peroxide.
Sensitivity test
The preparation is likely to cause severe skin inflammation in some people. Therefore, a preliminary test should always be carried out to reveal a particular sensitivity, and to carry out the test, clean a small area of skin behind the ear or on the inside of the forearm with soap and water or alcohol, then apply a small amount of the ready-made hair dye to this area of skin and allow to dry. After 48 hours, gently wash the skin area with soap and water. If there appears to be no irritation or inflammation, it is generally assumed that there is no hypersensitivity to the dye. However, the test should be repeated with each application. Hair dye should never be used to dye eyebrows or eyelashes, as doing so could cause severe inflammation of the eye or even blindness.
